If you rather explore the trails on your own, and reading a map is not a problem for you, you can also rent a bike! We rent fat bikes and in summer also full-suspension e-mountain bikes. Fat bikes with or without e-power. Take a closer look and book the rental gear from here.
Our little rental shop in Yllästunturi Visitor Centre Kellokas is a great starting point for your day outdoors. You can reach the best trails in the area and National Park straight from our doorstep both in summer and winter time. Spacious free parking space and beautiful views right from the yard. If you don't have a car, we can also be reached by ski bus!

Ylläs map is more than just a map, it's really useful tool for planning your holiday here in Ylläs area! If you prefer a traditional paper map, we also sell the official Ylläs outdoor map. Book your bike from our webshop and pick up from our rental shop. Booking in advance makes your rental process smoother and your bike will be waiting for you and ready to go. You can choose to pay in advance in the webshop or in the rental shop when picking up the bike.
seasons: Winter fat bike season starts approx. from mid December and continues until end of April. Conditions determine the end and beginning of the season and it varies yearly. Summer mtb-season starts when the the ground has dried out enough after snow and it usually happens in early June. Summer season continues until end of September. Trails might be free of snow in October also, but it varies yearly.

-Easy one for the start: Kesänkijärvi
-Nice 25km loop in the National Park: around Kesänkitunturi
-Longer loop around Yllästunturi. Note that this one is open only after mid February!!
