Escape the hustle and bustle and join our fat bike tour on our private trails. After a 15km drive from the Äkäslompolo village on our minibus we arrive to the remote winter base-camp of Hidden Trails Lapland. After few instructions and equipment check in our cozy hut we are ready for the bike ride of your life!

Our guide takes you to an adventure thru the true arctic wilderness on our private trail that meander through snowy taiga forests and vast frozen wetlands. At the halfway on our ride we'll have a longer break in our remote little hut. Our guide serves hot juice and some Lappish snacks while we take a rest by the open fire. After the break it is time to head back to the base-camp. Luckily we still have a lots of wonderful winter biking ahead of us before back at the hut.

This tour is suitable for beginners. Fair physical condition and ability to ride a mountain bike with ease is required. Bike sizes are suitable for 150+ cm riders. 

Riding distance and duration may vary according to groups ability and snow/weather conditions. Snow/trail conditions of the day affect the difficulty level of the sport.

What to wear?

Wear warm winter clothing and enough layers! Shoes: warmest winter boots/shoes you got! Toes gets easily cold when biking in winter. Shoes should be loose enough to fit extra woolen sock easily. Hands: Mittens are warmer than gloves, but this is more individual. If your fingers are easily cold, wear warm mittens rather than gloves.
